PEI-Polyether imide
Polyetherimide (PEI) is a super engineering plastic made by amorphous polyetherimide. It has the best high temperature resistance, dimensional stability, chemical resistance, flame retardant, electric property, high strength, high rigidity, etc. PEI resin can be widely used in high temperature resistant end. IC base, lighting equipment, FPCB (flexible circuit board), liquid delivery equipment, aircraft internal parts, medical equipment and household appliances, etc.
Characteristics: 1. PEI is characterized by high strength, high rigidity, wear resistance and dimensional stability at high temperature.
2, PEI is amber transparent solid, without adding any additives has inherent flame retardant and low smoke, oxygen index of 47%, combustion grade UL94-V-0.
3, PEI density of 1.28~1.42g/cm3, glass transition temperature of 215℃, thermal deformation temperature of 198~208℃, can be used in 160~180℃ for a long time, allow intermittent maximum use temperature of 200℃.
4, PEI has excellent mechanical strength, electrical insulation, radiation resistance, high and low temperature resistance and fatigue resistance and molding processing; Adding glass fiber, carbon fiber or other fillers can achieve the purpose of enhancement modification.
