A special wear-resistant grade polyamide imide (PAI). Most Pai grades do not form successfully in bottom cut molds. Torlon has been designed to be molded in tools with a smaller edge and has excellent performance in lubricated wear applications.

Torlon Pai has the highest strength and stiffness of thermoplastics up to 275°C (525°F). It has excellent wear resistance, creep resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. Potential applications for Torlon include ball bearing retainers and other shaped products requiring edging.
