HPPA is a 50% glass fiber reinforced high performance polyamide. It is a kind of hot water plastic material, suitable for parts requiring excellent mechanical properties and surface quality. It has high stiffness and strength, good impact performance, good dimensional stability, low warping performance and good surface finish.

It can be successfully electroplated, for example with a non-conductive vacuum metallization, or painted with a soft contact or ultraviolet top coat. The combination of high flow rate, low flash tendency and fast cycle time makes it a cost-competitive choice for mass-produced thin-walled parts, such as structural parts in mobile electronics.
