PA4T plastic is a kind of halogen-free, flame retardant high temperature resistant polyamide. Halogen-free flame retardant V0 grade; Ultra-high temperature resistance HDT310℃; Lead-free welding; High mobility. It extends the application range of the existing Stanyl product line to help customers achieve higher performance requirements in their specific applications. It supports lead-free welding and is suitable for use in electronics, showing superior performance even in the most demanding applications of surface mount technology.

PA4T plastic also has unique excellent characteristics, including excellent mechanical properties, electronic properties and excellent high temperature resistance. The unique balance of properties, such as higher dimensional stability, lead-free reflow compatibility, high rigidity and high mechanical strength at high temperature operations, makes the product effectively meet current and future market demands.

Due to its wide processing window and high mobility, this high performance product also has outstanding processing performance." It is worth mentioning that Stanyl ForTii performs better than other high-temperature resins, such as polyphthalamide (PPAs) and liquid crystal polymers (LCPs)."

Of all liquid crystal polymers, polyphthalamide and polyphenylene sulfide materials used in the reflow temperature range, this product has a very low warpage change before and after reflow. Therefore, this product is a very ideal solution to solve the problem of coplanar dimension. The product also has the following advantages: high mechanical toughness, high bonding line strength and better wear resistance.

PA4T plastic is ideal for electronic applications such as memory card connectors, CPU sockets, high-temperature spools, and laptop memory module connectors based on its good compatibility, lead-free surface mount technology and dimensional stability. In the automotive market, DSM expects materials to support new developments in applications related to automotive electrical systems, fuel supply, and cooling components under the hood. The material will be able to support the development of new electrical systems, air/fuel and powertrain components, under the hood applications.

Stanyl's ForTii is mainly used in electronic applications and conforming lead-free soldered surface mounted devices such as circuit boards, as well as current steering for halogen-free electrons used in personal computers. This also makes for a lower unit weight for its mechanical and chemical properties and thus has the potential to ally lower fuel consumption by weight in the automotive and aerospace industries.

The main characteristics of PA4T plastics are high melting point, stiffness over a wide temperature range and high glass transition point. These translate into heat-resistant enclosures and modules via electronic connectors and leds.
