PBT-Polybutylene terephthalate
Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), is a polyester made of terephthalic acid and 1, 4-butanediol condensation, is an important thermoplastic polyester, one of the five engineering plastics.
Poly (butyl terephthalate) is a milky translucent to opaque, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester with high heat resistance. Strong acid, alkali resistance, organic solvent, flammable, high temperature decomposition.
Poly (butyl terephthalate) is widely used in automobile, mechanical equipment, precision instrument parts, electronic appliances, textiles and other fields.
PBT resin is mostly processed into mixtures, modified by various additives, blending with other resins can obtain good heat resistance, flame retardant, electrical insulation and other comprehensive properties and good processing performance. Widely used in electrical appliances, automobiles, aircraft manufacturing, communications, home appliances, transportation and other industries. For example, after modified by glass fiber, PBT can be used to manufacture electronic parts requiring long term in high temperature conditions, size requirements of high stability. PBT breakdown voltage is high, suitable for the production of high voltage resistance parts, due to its melting state of good liquidity, suitable for injection processing complex structure of electrical parts, such as integrated circuit socket, printed circuit board, computer keyboard, electrical switch, fuse, temperature switch, protector, etc. Automobile bumper, carburetor, spark plug, oil supply system parts, igniter, etc. In the field of communication, PBT is widely used in program control telephone integrated module, terminal board, power tools, etc.
